Welcome

Girls celebrate excellent GCSE results.

St Catherine’s School educates approximately 380 girls from ages 3-16, and boys aged 3-7. From September 2010 we will open a Sixth Form to enable us to provide high quality education up to the age of 18.

Sister Paula Thomas Our aim at St Catherine’s is to provide an excellent education for our students within a caring, supportive and Christian environment. As a Catholic school we warmly welcome girls of all denominations.

At all stages, students are encouraged to achieve their personal best and to develop curious minds and discerning hearts. Learning is a key focus and challenging opportunities are provided both in and out of the classroom. However, we believe that education is much more than pure academics and, in partnership with parents, we aim to educate students in the broadest sense.

Since we are a relatively small school we are able to know our pupils as individuals and this creates a strong community spirit. New pupils make friends quickly and the school prides itself on its pastoral care which allows every pupil to feel valued and affirmed. St Catherine’s School is a very special place but the only way to find out more is to visit us you will be most welcome.
