ISA Biathlon Championships 2016

On Wednesday 12th October, St Catherine’s School travelled to Hurst Lodge in Ascot to take part in the 2016 ISA Biathlon Championships. The Biathlon Championship consisted of a tough swim in the outside pool followed by a cross country run through the woods.

Sixteen St Catherine’s girls took part in the ISA Biathlon and fought to the very end. Twelve independent schools in the region took part, with fifty four girls competing in each age group.

Our results are as follows:

Out of twelve schools, overall, we placed 1st in the U11 category, 1st the U13 category and 2nd in the U15 category. This meant that St Catherine’s School managed to come away with the title of the 2016 ISA Biathlon Champions.

For a small school this is such a huge feat. The girls’ hard work paid off and they truly deserve to win this title.  A huge congratulations goes to the all the St Catherine’s Girls who took part.
