In the final week before half term all our Year 7 pupils went on a computing trip to Legoland in Windsor. As part of the trip all of them took part in a workshop during the day, where they used the LEGO WeDo Construction Sets. Working in pairs, pupils built and programmed their own interactive model. Key Computing topics such as algorithms, repetition in programs, debugging & inputs and outputs were covered as part of the workshop.
The pupils got to enjoy the rest of the day in the park, exploring the park in their groups and having fun on the rides. A great day was had by all, and we look forward to returning next year as a school to another computing day at Legoland.
