ISA National Swimming Competition

On 21st January 2017 St Catherine’s School took part in the ISA National Swimming Competition. What an opportunity for the girls to be competing competitively at the 2012 Olympic Pool. The girls from prep to senior represented our school for the London West region.

The competition was demanding. The first medal of the day was won by Tia Branson in Year 5 who took a silver for individual 50M backstroke in 42.29 seconds. Tia then went on to take a gold medal in the 4x1 freestyle relay with other girls her age, representing their region.

Ellie Charlton managed to secure a bronze medal with her team mates from the London West region in the 4x1 medley relay. The girls exhibited great
determination in all of their races, achieving PBs throughout the day.

As well as the prep girls, our senior girls also made it through to the nationals.
Overall the region came 3rd . Well done to everyone who took part.
