Duke of Edinburgh Award Presentation

The Duke of Edinburgh Award is open to girls in years 10 and 11. It involves camping, preparing food and navigating in small groups. There are also sections on serving the community and developing new skills. The girls find that the award develops their confidence in dealing with unfamiliar situations, and they find it very rewarding. A number of students achieved their awards this year and many are now looking towards completing Silver and even Gold Awards.
