Charities
Charities week was a resounding success and the final total was a phenomenal £3,899.
Mrs Grant’s Form 7C raised a fantastic £1,700 and they have asked that their monies go to: Age Concern, Shooting Star, Cancer Research and the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.
The remainder of the monies will be donated to: Street Child Africa, British Heart Foundation, Great Ormond Street Hospital and Water Aid.
I would like to thank all the girls for working so hard at organising fun events such as the Talent Competition and Teacher Auction. A special thanks must go to Erin Jolley who raised £268 by herself for her sponsored silence. India Hennessey (7C) and Lucy Turner (7C) raised £175 and £147 respectively.
Teachers now await their fate from the teacher auction! Can’t wait!
