St Catherine’s, Twickenham, celebrates its best GCSE results to date.

Girls at St Catherine’s School were in jubilant mood as they celebrated record GCSE results.

100% of pupils achieved 5 A*-C grades, 63.2% achieved A*/A grades and 89.6% achieved A*-B grades. 39% of the year achieved nine or more A*/A grades.

The Headmistress, Sister Paula Thomas, commented: “I am delighted with the exam results which reflect the hard work of the girls and their teachers.  These results are very well deserved.”

“The school performs very well in terms of adding value to the grades that pupils are predicted to get in intelligence tests. Last year we added 1.34 grades on average to what a well established Durham University test, called MidYIS, predicted that they would get at GCSE eg turning a B into an A”.
