Exam results

St Catherine’s School, Twickenham, celebrates its GCSE results.

Girls at St Catherine’s School were in jubilant mood as they celebrated their GCSE results on Thursday 27th August.

The school achieved superb figures: 100% of pupils achieved 5 A*-C grades, 58% achieved A*/A grades and 88% achieved A*-B grades. Value added did not change.

The Headmistress, Sister Paula Thomas, commented: “I am delighted with the exam results which reflect the hard work of the girls and their teachers. Our value added scores continue to be well above the independent sector average and show what excellent teaching can achieve in a small school environment.”

The school is in expansive mood generally with a recently opened extension to the Prep Department and the launch of a Sixth Form in September 2010.
