Westminster Cathedral
December 5th, 2008
For many people, going to a Carol Service marks the beginning of the Christmas season. At St Catherine’s, staff and pupils were involved in preparing for and participating in as many as four Carol Services in December.

On December 5th, The Catholic Children’s Society held its Carol Service in Westminster Cathedral. This is a delightful occasion, aimed specifically at children, and including a real donkey in the re-telling of the Christmas story. This year, due to limited space in the Cathedral because of restoration work, they had to have two Carol Services on the same day. Year 6 travelled up to the Cathedral and joined the choir for the afternoon service, accompanied by Mrs Bailey and Mrs Williams.
