Year 11 Leavers Mass

On Wednesday 6th May, Year 11 gathered in the School Hall for a short prayer service to mark the end of their time here at St Catherine’s. The service gave the girls the opportunity to look back on their memories as pupils at St Catherine’s, to celebrate and give thanks for the young women they have become, and to look ahead to the new directions they will be taking after their exams.
The service was prepared by Miss Ryan, with the help of the students. Powerpoint slides helped give a visual focus for the service; the readings and music chosen added to the atmosphere of quiet reflection. The service finished with Sr Paula, along with other members of staff present, reading a prayer of blessing for our leavers.
