Our Year 12 Biology students entered the prestigious British Biology Olympiad last term. The competition challenges and stimulates students to expand and extend their talents and demonstrate their biological knowledge, by completing two demanding online exams.

The Biology Olympiad is open to students around the world and our girls all performed extremely well against strong competition. In particular, we would like to congratulate Ella Clein, Emilia Belligero, and Rachel Chiu, who were awarded Highly Commended Certificates and Roisin Neligan- Ayling, who achieved Commended.

In recognition of their dedication and ability, The Biology Society has awarded our students a free year of BioNet membership, which provides them with an electronic subscription to The Biologist magazine and e-newsletters featuring bioscience-related news and events. These articles give them access to inspiring, exciting
information and useful extracurricular material to discuss in their UCAS applications and interviews next year.

Both our Lower and Upper Sixth Form students are a delight to teach and we are very proud of their continued achievements.
