Mr Edward Sparrow (Chairman) was educated at Ampleforth and Oxford and is a partner and Board member of a firm of City solicitors. He has had a long association with St Catherine’s, with three daughters attending the school between 1985 and 2006. He also served on the committee of the Friends of St Catherine’s for several years.
Mr Graham Elkes is a retired Company Executive of BP, who has held a range of technical and commercial roles including that of Operations Manager for the aviation business, with full responsibility for HSE management. He now works as a consultant.
Mr Paul Clifford is the Finance Director of Lidco, a large Health Service Company. He is also a non-executive director of Prologic plc, a computer software company providing systems for the fashion and lifestyle business. His two daughters attended St Catherine’s between 1983 and 2000 and he was Chairman of FOSC for four years.
Mr Alan Perrier has retired after 40 years in the Metropolitan Police, having held many senior security and diplomatic protection roles, then Principal Security Officer at the Palace of Westminster, with experience in welfare and employment issues. His daughter is a former pupil of St Catherine’s.
Mr Stephen Jefferson has been an inspector with the Independent Schools Inspectorate since 1996. He has retired from the Senior Management Team at Sherborne School for Girls, having fulfilled a wide range of roles in both Prep and Senior independent school, specialising in ICT and development planning.
Mr Sean Skehan is the Academic Deputy Head at Mayfield School, an independent Catholic boarding and day school for girls. He has been a Head of English and Director of Studies and has a wealth of knowledge within the field of education.
Mrs Elizabeth Morris worked for fifteen years as a lawyer in dispute resolution for a major City solicitors practice. She is now a full-time mother with a passion for education and is keen to do what she can to support St Catherine’s.
Mrs Pauline Aldridge is a former bank manager and ACIB who was educated at St Catherine’s and then UCL, where she obtained a First Class Honours degree in Anthropology. She has more recently been a full-time mother and is keen to support her old school in any way she can.
Sylvia Hamilton is a senior commercial HR generalist professional with diverse sector experience, including professional service practices, telecoms and property. She has worked with international workforces located in Asia, America, Canada, Central Europe and Scandinavia.
Sylvia has sales and marketing experience which combined with board level influencing and relationship skills also make her suitable for business development projects.
Sylvia read Modern history at Durham University, is a Fellow of Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and holds a post-graduate diploma in Marketing.
