There was great excitement on Thursday 25th August as the girls celebrated their GCSE results.
56% of the grades were A*/A
83% were A*-B
100% of the pupils achieved 5 or more A*-C grades including English, Maths and a Modern Foreign Language
Particular areas of strength were Maths and the three Sciences, producing excellent results in a school which fosters achievement in STEM subjects.
Maths 80% A*-B; 100% A*-C
Further Maths 100% A*-B 17% A* with distinction
Biology 100% A*-B
Chemistry 100% A*
Physics 100% A*-B
Double Award Science 82% A*-B
The Art Department excelled itself, once again achieving 100% A*/A in Art, Photography and Textiles.
