Iona - YEAR 3
Iona won the Championship Cup Dance, coming first place out of the Under 6s.
This is the highest achievement you can get at a Feis. Wining a Cup is massive to the dancer and their teacher. She is now the Champion in Hertfordshire. She gets to keep her Cup for a year, until the next Herts Feis takes place. Her name will be engraved on the Cup.
Iona dances for the “O’Connor Irish School of Dance”. Her teacher is called Anna-Marie.
Iona has been Irish Dancing since she was 3 years of age
Robyn - Year 8
In December 2017 the Art department entered the Westfield Gift Card Competition.
Robyn Simms in 7M won, having designed a beautiful red and gold decorative composition, with over two thousand printed for the world to see. She won £100 for herself and £1000 for the Art Department which they used to buy digital SLR cameras to expand the use of photography at KS3.
Robyn is also an accomplished gymnast. After only being in the Kingston Trampoline Academy competitive squad for 3/4 weeks Robyn got a Silver and Gold medal at her first London Region competition. She has qualified through to the next stage.
Jada - Year 11
Selected for London West having achieved 1st place at the ISA Athletics Champs.Achieved 3rd place in shot, receiving bronze medal at the Nationals 2015. Last year
offered sports scholarship. Attended netball tour and represents the Year8 A Team. Also represents the school in swimming. Has developed advanced coaching skills and now supports Year7s at netball club. An excellent role model. Attending net tour 2016
Represents the school in netball U14 A. received colours in Dec 2016. Made National schools Athletics in Shot Put June 2017, In which she won Gold!
