Windsor Castle Trip- Year 1

On 12 November, Year 1 pupils visited Windsor Castle as part of their history lessons, learning about castles and knights. We enjoyed a workshop about the different parts of the castle and who lives there, explored the inside of the castle, discovered where the Queen stays, and watched the changing of the guard. Many of the girls’ favourite part was seeing Queen Mary’s dollhouse up close and getting to try on parts of a suit of armour.
