Just before Christmas, pupils from Year 8, Year 9 and Year 10 travelled to Rhineland in Germany to visit the Christmas Markets. They had the chance to sample the local delicacies and practise their German at the Christmas markets in Domplatz, Heumarkt, and Koblenz. The trip also included tour of Cologne Cathedral and Marksburg Castle and a river cruise on the Rhine. One of the many highlights of the trip was the pupils singing Christmas Carols on stage and being rewarded with chocolate from St. Nicholas!
Congratulations to all the pupils who took part in the trip and a big thank you to all the members of staff who looked after them and to Mr Bawden for organising such an amazing and memorable trip.
