World Book Day 2022

It was the official World Book Day last Thursday. However celebrated the joys of reading all week with staff readings, our ‘secret reader’ competition, and a number of guest speakers!

Prize-winning author Manjeet Mann gave the girls a wonderful talk on her journey to becoming an author and the inspiration for her books. Year 7 were treated to some fascinating sessions with author Sarah Govett  as part of our World Book Day celebrations. The girls learnt about the writing process, the characteristics of the dystopian genre, and the benefits of comedy.
