Richmond Park Mural

Pupils in the Senior school have recently completed a stunning mural for the Lodge building. The design comprises a large acrylic painting of a scene of Pen Ponds in Richmond Park and has been embellished with images of wildlife that can be found within the landscape. By the sides of the painting Art pupils from Years 7-12 have created paintings, lino prints, etchings, oil pastels and pencil drawings of more animals, birds and insects. The major canvas was painted by the Sixth Form Art scholars, and pupils from Miss Toner’s Art club worked on small sections of canvas that were mounted within. The Art scholars throughout the Years also got involved in decorating the piece in acrylics.
