Year 5 pupils recently visited The Rose Theatre for a Shakespeare workshop, combining learning with plenty of opportunities to take part and get creative.
Reflecting on the experience, Stella said, “The activities were fun and helped me learn more about Shakespeare.”
Charlie added, “My favourite part was freeze-framing a line from A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”
Taking part in a workshop in a professional theatre setting brought Shakespeare to life and gave the girls a memorable experience to build on in their English lessons back at school.
