St Catherine’s is offering some new Prep scholarships which are available for pupils currently in Year 4.
The scholarship will cover Year 5 and Year 6 and comes with a 30% reduction on tuition fees. The deadline for application is 3 June 2025. Applicants will be permitted to apply for only one scholarship, and the scholarship process will include an interview and assessments/auditions on June 6 from 1.30pm – 3.10pm. Offers to will be made by late June and the Headmistress’s decision to award any scholarships will be final.
There will be four scholarships available:
- Academic Scholarship: Open to candidates who can demonstrate exceptional strengths in assessment papers and who show strong thinking skills.
- Creative Arts Scholarship: Open to candidates who can demonstrate exceptional strengths in Visual Arts. Candidates will be asked to demonstrate their work and to show some examples of previous creative pieces.
- Performing Arts Scholarship: Open to candidates who can demonstrate exceptional strengths in Music, Drama and/or Dance. Candidates should show evidence of musical or performance ability and will be asked to perform and show examples of previous achievements or experience.
- Sports Scholarship: Open to candidates who are actively involved in competitive sports at school, and possibly club level. All applicants will be assessed via fitness tests, and the assessment of personal skills and key sports.
